OC DRIFTER is a 2007 27' Maycraft Pilothouse XL . She is comfortable and roomy (with a 9.5' beam). She is clean and safe, well founded, well maintained and well loved. She allows us to do what we really want to do which is to share our passion for boating with more people.

     Fun Fact: charters can be expensive! We took our kids charter fishing and diving wherever we could while on vacations over the last 20 years. Honestly, it was sometimes one of the most expensive parts of the vacations! We wanted to do something different and keep the cost of charters as low as possible so more people could enjoy the opportunity to get out on the water! We also wanted to keep the focus on kids wherever possible which is why our fishing charters are "kid-centric".

     So we looked for a vessel we felt was a great platform that we could customize the way we want it. It is a work of passion and a work in progress, always adding new things and working to make her the best little boat she can be. We could have gone out and bought a shiny new boat but then our pricing would have to reflect the higher cost of running and maintaining a newer vessel. That goes against our vision of affordable charters for everyone! So if you are looking for a "new yacht experience" on a shiny new boat - we understand - and a cruise on OC DRIFTER may not be in your wheelhouse. But if you don't care so much about all that and just want to get out there and chill on the water on a great boat with your friends or family ... then come join us on the OC DRIFTER!
